Love Issues

What has happened to the true love that a man has for a woman, or a mother for her children, or a friend to his neighbor. Something has gone dreadfully wrong in our homes, churches, communities, and our country. People have reserved themselves to their right to remain silent while one takes another’s life, the right to remain silent while someone’s daughter is being ganged raped, a right to remain silent while watching our communities fall. Whatever happened to it takes a village to raise a child, do unto others as you want to be done unto you, having someone’s back, or til death do us part? Have you ever wondered what the world would really be like if we all chose to love unconditionally? Instead humanity has become inhuman – lacking qualities of sympathy, pity, warmth, compassion, and exchanged the very qualities that made up mankind for cruelty, brutality. The question today is where is the love?
Sadly many are dealing with love issues and may not know it. Persons are going about their daily lives smiling on the outside but torn on the inside. We hide behind the façade of titles & positions only to struggle with inner issues such as trust, fear, peace!
Marriages are struggling, churches are wounded, schools have become warzones, and homes have become broken havens. We studied at the right institutes, gained our success, married for the right reasons, yet there is still a disconnection between us and those around us.
Ever wondered why the feelings of abandonment, insecurity, and trust issues? They all stem from the root of fear! Fear brings torment, fear causes disconnections, and fear causes delusional thoughts thereby acting as an agent to cause disunity. When this happens it grips the mind and closes the gateway that leads to the heart. Once it blocks the channels to the heart, love can no longer freely flow. When this happens a person will become secluded from those around, they will find themselves justifying wanting to be alone, all while the darkness of loneliness takes root and lead them into oppression, which then the ultimate death grip of depression tries to take over.
Again here is another question what could make someone want to shut out those around them, and choose to live in such bondage of seclusion? Disturbing is that many are born again believers who are married with children, operating in leadership, and yet are suffering in silence due to love issues. Finding fault with one another, drawing the wrong conclusions, holding on to past hurts, sulking in pain, living in grudges, judging falsely, hurting others, operating in offense ALL while claiming to love! But is this in fact love at all or have true love been diminished down to one’s one selfishness.

12 No one has ever seen God. If we love each other, God lives in us, and his love is perfected in us. 18 There is no fear in love [dread does not exist], but full-grown (complete, perfect) love turns fear out of doors and expels every trace of terror! For fear brings with it the thought of punishment, and [so] he who is afraid has not reached the full maturity of love [is not yet grown into love’s complete perfection]. 1 John 4:12, 18 (GW, AMP)

Where there is fear, there will be trust issues, insecurities, feelings of abandonments, delusional thoughts. But when one matures in the understanding and knowledge of love all fear has to vacate! He who fears has not perfected love…Love is not an affection which produces fear.
Jesus mission was through love, His prayer Father make them one. Whenever disunity is present love is not. When there is a struggle to love those around it’s an indication of love issues. The second and greatest commandment of God is to love your neighbor as yourself. This may sound simple but yet profound, because many struggle with self love.

21 And this commandment have we from him, That he who loveth God love his brother also. 1 John 4:21 (KJV)

We write this as an eye opener for all mankind, to began to see the breakdown of life because of the issues of love. It’s time to stop pointing the fingers at one another, stop looking for the mistakes, stop holding on to what happened, and start forgiving, that love will begin to once again flow from heart to heart. Man was not created to be islands which stand alone, but created to be channels for love to flow through, that we may give and receive love. When we all begin to truly love those around us as was the original intent, then marriages, families, churches, communities and nations can truly be healed.
Today, before you sign the next document, preach another word, dance the next step, sing a single note STOP. Forgive the one who may have offended you, the one who hurt you, or even let you down, for love covers all transgressions.

Proverbs 17:9 (BBE)  He who keeps a sin covered is looking for love; but he who keeps on talking of a thing makes division between friends.

1 Peter 4:8 (TLB)  Most important of all, continue to show deep love for each other, for love makes up for many of your faults.

There is no greater source known to man than that our pure love! For God so loved this world that He gave His Love for it!
Reach out and share the love!
