The Season

Matthew 26:31…  Then saith Jesus unto them, All ye shall be offended because of me this night: …..

  • Do not fall into the spirit of offense; to be offended is the feeling of resentful displeasure. It also is describe as being hurt or upset, insulted. In this season one must be aware to not allow your feelings to interfere with your destiny. Remember the enemy’s job is to kill, steal and destroy! Our job is to never give him a foothold to gain access!
41 Stay alert; be in prayer so you don't wander into temptation without even knowing you're in danger. There is a part of you that is eager, ready for anything in God. But there's another part that's as lazy as an old dog sleeping by the fire."
  •  Stay Alert! In this season it’s the plot and plan of the enemy to rock you into the state of unconsciousness, the things that you would normally be alert to, will be the very things that causes you to become lethargic. There might be the feeling of throwing in the towel, because it will appear to be a dead end, a struggle, to no effect. But it’s all a stratagem! In order to lose the upper hand, one must be gently swayed into a comatose state!
46 "Rise let us go! Here comes my betrayer!"

  •  Beware! Judas is near! Judas has to be close enough to violate you. Judas is one you trust, allowed in your inner space, the one you reveal your secrets to. Judas is dangerous; this person  have become open to the invasion of the enemy’s tactics. All will be offended, but when the offense lingers in the heart and mind it will cause the spirit of betrayal to overtake a person. Before a person is fully aware of that deadly spirit lurking on the inside on them it’s too late the treason has begun. Betrayal is a suicide mission! Judas realized what he had done and repented but it was too late the damage was done, he then hung himself.

During this season don’t hold on to grudges, guard your heart and mind. Love the unlovable, the undeserving, those who despiteful use you. Those you love may not do or say all the right things and when this happens, release those emotions immediately! Holding on to the questions, trying to examine all that is said or done will only cause you to walk in offense. Once offense grips your spirit it’s hard to become untangled. It slowly begins to suffocate the innocence of your mind it will cause a restlessness to overtake you. Slothfulness will move in, dread will house itself in your emotions, with a smile on your face and struggle to go forward. This, my friend is the open door to betrayal! Become Alert, Become Aware, Regain your Focus, And Release the Pain, and Refuse to become the Victim but Rise as the Victor!

And All the survivors Please stand!

We live in the days where persons shout “I’m a survivor”! persons are surviving fires, floods, earthquakes, accidents, sickness & disease, wars, attacks, abuse and the list can go on and on. But the question is today how many marriages can strongly announce without wavering “I too am a survivor”. Yes they may have gone through heartaches, pains, disappointments you name it - marriages have been through it. The testimonies of these survivals are locked in the vault of their success stories. But yet there are some who are barely maintaining, barely treading water, hanging by the thread of their vows pondering in the mind can our marriage make it through. The answer is yes it can, if you both make the conscience decision to move past yesterday and wait on tomorrow but live in today.

It begins with Mental preparation:

The mind is very critical to survival. You must have a mindset that you are going to make it no matter what. If there is a doubt inside the mind then the mind will manifest what it holds to be true, doubt is a strong element, doubt will diminish truth. Doubt will overshadow your ability to think, thereby leaving one with clouds of uncertainty. Doubt will cause one to have limited vision, limited mobility, and limited power. Once doubt takes up its residency it begins its journey to invade your peace. In order to survive one must be steadfast in their mind with an assurance they are going to make it! Without this positive thinking the end is doomed from the start. Change the way you think and you will change the way you live.

Seek a Refuge that you may become refreshed and restored! Separation from the normal everyday living is just what the doctor ordered! Every “Body” needs a break, and every marriage longs for a Refreshing. This adds power, freshness, vitality, and energy back to the marriage.

Reignite the Fire of Passion

Fire is a much needed tool in survival! Passion is not a byproduct in marriage it is one of the most important elements in keeping the love alive. It’s never too late to strike a spark that will ignite a flame. Fire purifies, it cleanse, it aides in healing and it burns off the old dross.

Many are victors of “Marital Survival”, have made it through the rough waters and have managed to regroup, rededicate and rekindled their love. Often spoken are the fatalities of marriage, less shared are the Survivors in Marriage.

We take this moment to celebrate all who refused to throw in the towel, whose mindset was never give up, who endured against all odds! Any and Everyone has their day of celebration and honor but what about the Survivors in Marriage who overcame by the Blood of the Lamb and the Word of their testimony shall encourage those who still believe that “what God has joined let no man tear apart”!

What a Passion, Marriage. It’s still one of the most fulfilling covenants on earth.

No More Backups! Let the Love Flow!

When was the last time a compliment so gently rolled off your tongue and entered the ear-gate of your spouse? How about the last time your extremities smoothly swept across the brow of their eye, then journeyed down the silhouette of their face? What about the last time that time was so spontaneous that your night ended in a peaceful bliss of love?
If your answer to one or more of these questions causes you to ponder, then your marriage could be experiencing “backups”. Our definition of “backups” is accumulation of frustration due to stoppage which can cause overwhelming pressure that leads to damage. The one time love language shared between the two can easily become a fading memory of the past. Life itself can be the culprit of these “backups”; work, school, children, etc…, but are these reasons enough to allow the “backups” continue.
Many may have entered the covenant of marriage years ago, and may have been enduring seasons of “backups” until they have become so immune that the gentlest of spousal touch causes reactions of strife. To others this is a wakeup call before the auto recovery system of the marriage malfunctions completely.
This is the season to reverse the negative “backup” to a positive “backup” and devise a plan to recapture what is fading or has already disappeared. It’s not too late to date, laugh, and love again!
The outside pressures of life are overwhelming, both the husband and the wife can use a break to reinforce the longevity of the marriage. Your spouse needs your personal time and endorsements to survive in a world filled with struggle, pain, and disappointments. A gentle answer, a soft touch, a spontaneous gesture may just be what is needed to relieve the pressure!

Note this, you only receive what you choose to give, give more and you’ll reap more! Mark this day as a day of giving….now watch what this day will bring.

P.S. Hit us up we love to hear your comments………

A season of Instability

To everything there is a season, and a time for every purpose under the heaven. (Ecclesiastes 3:1)

Everything in life moves through seasons, seasons are periods characterized by particular conditions. Whether the condition is good or bad it could leave lasting effects in your life. Marriages can experience seasons of difficulties, such as illness, financial struggles, death, work, children,etc.... When sudden distress raises it untimely head, it can knock the marriage out of sync, which can cause the marriage to be a little unstable. When this happens there is a chance that the marriage may not recover back to it's original state. The question that faces many is while in the season of instability does one give up or do they stay and rebuilt. The first thing we would suggest is never make sudden descisions while things are unstable. After traumatic accidents the first instructions is to stabilize the patient, because in order for proper healing there always needs to be a stabilization. Sometimes one needs to get to the place of steadiness just to think, one can not make wise decsions in an unstable environment.

Things to consider when your world is turned upside down:

  1.  One must get out of the way: that is get your hands out of the situation and let God handle it. Old saying too many hands in the pot can spoil the soup.

  2. Find shelter- remember (he that dwells in the secret place of the Most High God shall abide under the Shadow of the Almighty). Find your peace and stay there.

  3.  Be still: (Know that He is God), sudden moves can cause an unstable environment to become a potentially hazzard one.

Remember It's only a season, and seasons come and go.  Never make decisions in the middle of instabililty.
