Many times couples enter into marriages with personal hang-ups which may at times lead to hurts in the relationship. These "hang-ups" can cause dilemmas, set backs, blocks, walls that becomes fortesses. The question is, just because one may have certain hang-ups does it justify actions such as the silent treatment? Does the hang-up has a right to inflict pain towards the other? Could the hang-up be a subconscious obession searching for the next unexpected target?
Could some of the problems that couples face stem from the pre-occupied erroneous thoughts which causes communicational shut downs thereby leading to maritial struggles?
